"Our best thoughts come from others." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
"Everything that I said I’d do
Like make the world brand new
And take the time for you
I just got lost and slept right through the dawn
And the world spins madly on
I let the day go by
I always say goodbye
I watch the stars from my window sill
The whole world is moving and I’m standing still"
- The Weepies
"On and on you will hike
And I know you’ll hike far
and face up to your problems
whatever they are.
You’ll get mixed up, of course,
as you already know.
You’ll get mixed up
with many strange birds as you go.
So be sure when you step.
Step with care and great tact
and remember that Life’s
a Great Balancing Act.
Just never forget to be dexterous and deft.
And never mix up your right foot with your left.
And will you succeed?
Yes! You will, indeed!

KID, YOU’LL MOVE MOUNTAINS!"
- ― Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You’ll Go!
…and yet, sometimes we forget how young we are. Recently, I’ve felt much older than I am. I don’t know whether I should feel prepared, bolstered by experience, or I should feel scared, as I do, that I’m only paying attention to what’s ahead of me rather than what’s here.
